When it's time to eat, we sure can put it away. We can eat 300 pounds of food a day! African Elephants herbivores, so we eat plant based foods, like leaves, tree bark, small trees, shrubs and grass. Asian Elephants eat grass and shrubs and trees too, they are also herbivores.
